Rose Mary has been a popular artist for over thirty
years. Her favorite locations have been the Black Hills of South
Dakota, desert scenes from around the Congress, Arizona area, and
scenes from Germany. She loves to travel and she never fails to bring
her paints along, too. She prefers to paint on location as she feels
this is the only way to capture the true sentiment of what she is
portraying. Her favorite mediums are oils, and pen and ink. Her
paintings hang in homes all over the world. Her work has hung in
galleries all over the country and appeared in many juried
competitions.
Rose Mary loves to research and write books also.

Additionally, Rose Mary illustrated the handbook,
Wheelchair Vacationing in South Dakota, which was published in
1971. She has drawn hundreds of pen and ink sketches, which were
produced and distributed in print, note card, and post card form. Rose
Mary had created numerous maps, brochures, and informational flyers
for historic sites and local tourism spots in both South Dakota and
Arizona. Rose Mary has painted over 400 works of art, with oil on
canvas being her primary and most beloved medium.
